About YMTOI

YMTOI evolved as parents and congregations with youth were looking for material to teach their children Torah.

Initially, Rebbetzin Juliana Berkson, under the direction of Rabbi Steve Berkson, created lessons for the local Beth Shalom congregation’s Sabbath school as well as themed lessons for the MTOI pilgrimage feasts.  As MTOI grew, requests were made that our material be shared throughout the mishpocha.  Over time, Yahweh drew together those with the gifts needed to bring the YMTOI educational materials to fruition.

At this time we offer to you the following:

  • Weekly Parsha Lessons (Parsha Pearls – Gem Seekers (ages 5-8) and Pearl Seekers (ages 9-99+)
  • Special Feast Edition Lessons (Parsha Pearls)
  • Resources (Hebrew Aleph-Bet & Numbers)
  • YMTOI Feast Photo Gallery (Mishpocha &  Class Pics)
  • YMTOI Feast Presentation Day Videos
  • YMTOI Feast Songs (Special songs related to Feast Themes – Audio and Lyrics)
  • Children’s Books (Psalm 119 & Proverbs)
  • MTOI Ladies Ministry Cookbooks (3 editions)

We are excited to share our free material and any information we have to help you on your walk with your children or classes on Shabbat.

We pray that this website becomes a valuable resource for you to teach your child Torah.  If you have any questions or comments please contact us at parshapearls@mtoi.org.

Blessings from MTOI and YMTOI
